Day 1: Pyramids Tour

From this point, you will travel via air-conditioned, private vehicle to Cairo. The first item on the itinerary will be the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, followed by the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, which date back to the time of Chephren.

Next, you will visit the Step Pyramid, the world’s oldest major stone structure. Day 2: Egyptian Museum/Salah Din Citadel

After enjoying breakfast in your hotel, you’ll pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where you’ll enjoy more than 250,000 unique artifacts illustrating more than 5,000 years of history and culture. Make sure you visit the treasures of Tutankhamen, which were discovered in the 1920s, after lying hidden for more than 3,500 years.

You will have lunch at a local restaurant, before visiting Salah El Din Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, built in the 1800s. After visiting this area, you will travel via air-conditioned private vehicle back to Alexandria to rejoin your cruise.
