Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

Upon arrival on your Sahara Desert Expedition you will be met by our expert representative. You will then be transferred to your Cairo hotel aboard a modern, air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and to spend the night.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids/Egyptian Museum

You’ll enjoy a quiet breakfast at your hotel before starting your tour of the area. On the itinerary are the Pyramids of Giza, including that of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. You’ll also tour the Great Sphinx, followed by the Valley Temple.

A visit to the Egyptian Museum rounds out the day, where you will enjoy pharaonic treasures from the past. You’ll spend the night in Cairo.

Day 3: Bahariya Oasis

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel. Via air-conditioned vehicle, you will travel to the Bahariya Oasis, where you will tour an ancient village and enjoy the sight of palm and fruit groves.

Finally, you will enjoy a sunset tour of the English House and a chance to explore the village shops. You will spend the night in Bahariya.

Day 4: White Desert and Black Desert

You will enjoy breakfast, followed by a tour of the Golden Valley Mummies from the Greco-Roman era. You will then tour the White Desert, as well as the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize, where you will enjoy a natural hot spring.

Crystal Mountain is bedecked with volcanic quartz crystals and the Valley of Agabat is a unique treasure. You’ll camp under the stars in the White Desert and enjoy Bedouin entertainment and food.

Day 5: Back to Cairo

You will enjoy breakfast and leisure time to explore the hot spring and surrounding area before returning to Cairo to spend the night.

Day 6: Final Departure

After breakfast, you will be shuttled to the Cairo International Airport for your departure flight out of Egypt.

• Accommodation in Bahariya for 1 night, at Bishmo Lodge on half -board basis
