Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

Our expert tour representative will meet you at the Cairo International Airport. You will then be transferred to your Cairo hotel aboard a modern, air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and to spend the night.

Day 2: Alamein and Marsa Matrouh

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and drive to Alamein in an air-conditioned vehicle. Here, you can explore the WWII Museum and Cemetery. Next, you will drive to the Bay of Marsa Matrouh, on the coast of the Mediterranean. You’ll spend the night in Marsa Matrouh.

Day 3: Siwa Oasis

Today, you will drive to Siwa Oasis, where you can explore the fortified town of Siwa. The ancient tombs within the Mountain of the Dead can be visited, as well as the Temple of Amun, dedicated to Amon. This is the spot where Alexander the Great consulted the Oracle for help. The bubbling natural pool, Cleopatra’s Bath, is worth seeing, as well. You’ll spend the night in Siwa.

Day 4: Bahariya Oasis

After breakfast in Siwa, you will board an off-road vehicle for the trip to Bahariya Oasis. You’ll enjoy lunch during the 6-hour trip and then dinner and comfortable accommodations on your arrival in the oasis.

Day 5: Bahariya Oasis

You’ll enjoy a breakfast in the peaceful Bahariya Oasis, followed by a tour of the area, including the fruit and palm tree groves. The English House is on the itinerary, while the Golden Valley of the Mummies will be explored later in the day, as will the Tomb of the Nobles. After touring the area, you’ll have the chance to dine and shop in the village, as well as spending the night once more.

Day 6: Black Desert and White Desert

You will start your day with breakfast, followed by a trip to the White Desert and the Black Desert. You’ll visit the Valley of El Haize, which features a natural hot spring, as well as the Valley of Agabat and Crystal Mountain. You will enjoy camping under the stars in the White Desert, as well as Bedouin entertainment and food.

Day 7: Farafra and Dakhla Oases

In the morning, you will drive to Farafra Oasis, where palm groves thrive and a hot spring awaits. You’ll also visit the unique mud brick museum of Badr. The next stop is Dakhla Oasis, which is surrounded by rose-colored cliffs. You will stay the night in Dakhla.

Day 8: Kharga Oasis

You will enjoy a trip to the Roman temple Deir El Hagar, surrounded by pristine nature, as well as the Roman burial grounds at Mezzawaqqah. Next, you will visit Kharga Oasis, where you will visit Qasr el Labeka, an ancient Roman fortress guarding a caravan route. An ethnic museum is available in the oasis, as well.

Next, you will visit the Roman Temple of Hibis and an early Christian cemetery featuring painted chapels and murals in nearby Bagawat. You will round out the day with a trip to the Temple of Dush and the Baris Oasis. You will camp overnight at the Kharga Oasis.

Day 9: Luxor

After enjoying breakfast, you will take a 6-hour trip to Luxor, where you will spend the night.

Day 10: Luxor Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will cross the Nile River to the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. You’ll also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon here. You will enjoy lunch at a true local restaurant, followed by a trip down the East Bank to the famed Karnak Temples and the Luxor Temple. Finally, you will board a sleeper train bound for Cairo.

Day 11: Giza Pyramids/Egyptian Museum

You will be met at the Giza train station in Cairo by our expert representative, who will assist you. You will enjoy a trip out to the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephen and Mykerinus, as well as paying a visit to the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

A trip to the Egyptian Museum rounds out the day, followed by a trip to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 12: Final Departure

You will enjoy breakfast in your hotel, followed by a transfer to the Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
