On the Day Tour of the Pyramids from Alexandria Port our experienced, expert representative will pick you up from the Port of Alexandria, by the cruise exit door. You will then enjoy a day excursion from Alexandria to Cairo, which lasts approximately 2 ½ hours. You will enjoy all the comforts of a modern, air-conditioned, private vehicle throughout your tour.

You will immediately notice the panoramic view of the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus when you arrive in Cairo. You’ll then visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, both of which date back to the time of Chephren.

Your next stop will be the necropolis of Saqqara, where you will board a 4x4 Jeep and take a short desert tour. After this, you will take a camel into the desert for a 30-minute ride and experience some of what life is truly like in the desert. Your camel ride ends at the Saqqara Country Club, where you can relax for a bit and enjoy lunch before heading back to Alexandria to rejoin your cruise.
