What to See on Nuweiba Tours?

Nuweiba Tours

Nuweiba tours show off this small resort on the Gulf of Aqaba. It's great for quiet getaways. Some of the best sea adventuring around and wonderful hotels!

Touring the Nuweiba Area of Sinai

When you search luxury tours in Egypt you will probably see some land tours that include stops to Nuweiba.

Nuweiba is located on the eastern coast of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. The name Nuweiba was certainly appropriate, it meaning bubbling springs in Arabic. Though the settlement was originally a barren and remote location, it has recently been transformed into a very colorful and inviting tourist destination.

The best way for you to be formally introduced to Nuweiba is to learn the major sections of the city: there’s the port, the Tarabin village and Bedouin Camp and the beach strip. There’s not actually a center area for Nuweiba, though you can find some restaurants and stores around the city.

Relaxation and/or Scuba Diving

What can you do in Nuweiba on escorted tours that pass by the area? Obviously the most popular activity is just hanging out on the beautiful beach strip. In addition to relaxation, tourists can also enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling activities. They can arrange for a deal either with the hotel of their choice or even from one of the nearby Bedouin Camps.

There are plenty of budget tours affordable for tourists, as this area is also popular with backpackers that are living frugally. Some of the most popular scuba diving sites near or around Nuweiba include Devils Head and South Cove.

Trekking and/or Camping

If you want more activity rather than sightseeing then arrange for a camel trek courtesy of the Bedouins at Tarabin. They can arrange for private tours of camel trekking, short and long, and either around the beach or into the mountains.

You can also arrange for treks into the Colored Canyon. Another favorite past time in Nuweiba is staying at a Bedouin-style camp, such as Petra Camp on Tarabine's beach or New Soft Beach. These camps are comfortable, offer easy beach access, and are much cheaper than hotels.

Travel Safety

Is it safe to travel to Nuweiba on Egypt tours? Yes, in fact given the friendliness of the culture here, you could even say that Nuweiba is less worrisome than many other more popular Egypt cities.

Some Egyptians have conservative viewpoints, so avoid wearing any shocking clothing beyond the beach bikini. Also remember that Nuweiba is not Amsterdam. There is just as much marijuana available here and for surprisingly cheap - however, it is illegal and buying it could subject you to large fines and even prison terms. If you have to be arrested for drug possession, do it in your home country!

Nuweiba is indeed the bubbling springs of Sinai and is a great family location to check out during your luxury Egypt tours.
