Hurghada, Egypt is a city located in eastern Egypt on the coast of the Red Sea. It was a small fishing village for many years, and has only recently come to the attention of travelers.


Things to do in the City


The city is divided into several sections. El Dahar, which is the oldest part of the city, is the downtown region. Sekalla is a very modern area, and Sakkala is an area where on can find a number of hotels. You can also find a large bazaar in Dahar, another section of the city.

Today, the city has a population of nearly a quarter of a million people and is a very popular destination for tourists, especially those who love adventure. A number of hotels and resorts serve the scuba divers, pleasure sailors, and snorkelers that come to the region.

People who come to the city will be able to find a number of different things to do while in the city. The beach, sea, and desert here are world class.


Scuba Diving and Snorkeling


Because Hurghada is located right on the coast of the Red Sea, it makes it quite a popular destination for those who love scuba diving.
