Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

Upon arrival on the Egypt and Jordan Tour our representative will meet you at the Cairo International Airport. You will then board a modern air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel, where you will stay the night.

Day 2: Pyramids Tour

After your breakfast in the city, you will tour the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. You’ll enjoy a close up view of the Sphinx and the Valley Temple and even get a chance to visit the Step Pyramid in Saqqara. Finally, you will enjoy visiting Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum/Salah Din Citadel

On day 3 of the Egypt and Jordan Tour you will enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then set off for the Egyptian Museum, where you will view more than 250,000 pharaonic artifacts.

You will then visit the Alabaster Mosque and the Salah El Din's Cairo Citadel, before heading to the Giza railway station to board a sleeper train for Luxor. You will sleep and dine on the train.

Day 4: Luxor East Bank

On arrival at Luxor, you will be assisted to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temples before retiring for the night.

Day 5: Luxor Sightseeing / Sharm

When you have finished breakfast, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut. At the end of your day, you will travel to the Luxor Airport, where you will catch a flight to Sharm El Sheikh. You will be assisted to your hotel on arrival.

Day 6: St. Catherine Monastery

On day 6 of the Egypt and Jordan Tour you will enjoy breakfast in your hotel and then set out for St. Catherine Monastery aboard an air-conditioned vehicle. Here, you will enjoy the Room of Skulls, the burning bush and several hours of free time to enjoy the area thoroughly.

Day 7: Taba/Moses Mountain

In the very early morning, you will climb Moses Mountain, were you will watch the sunrise and then return to your hotel for breakfast and hot tea. You will then be driven to Taba aboard an air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 8: Aqaba Port/Wadi Rum/Petra

From your hotel, you will head to the Taba Heights Marina, where you will take the ferry across to Wadi Rum. Here, you will board Bedouin Jeeps and explore the sand dunes, and visit Lawrence’s Spring. You will end your day at the Petra hotel, where you can check in and have the remainder of the day free.

Note: Barragh Canyon, which is near the Saudi border is not on the itinerary, nor is Lawrence House.

Day 9: Petra/Amman

On day 9 on the Egypt and Jordan Tour you will enjoy breakfast in Petra and then enjoy viewing the ancient rose red city. You will ride on horseback through the Siq and then travel on foot to the treasury. The Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle are all open to viewing. In the afternoon, you will drive to Amman for check-in at your hotel.

Day 10: Amman City Tour/Jerash/Amman

In Amman, you will visit the ancient Roman amphitheatre, as well as King Abdullah Mosque and the Archaeological and Folklore Museum. Next up, you will move on to Jerash, where you will find an amazing example of Roman architecture around every corner. You will explore Jerash and then return to Amman for the night.

Day 11: Amman/Aqaba Port

You will have the morning free to explore the city of Amman. You will then drive to Aqaba, where you can shop before heading back to Taba. You will be met in Taba and then transferred to Cairo.

Day 12: Final Departure

The final day of the Egypt and Jordan Tour. You will have one final breakfast and the transfer to the Cairo International Airport, where you will catch your departing flight.
