Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

Our representative will meet you on arrival at the Cairo International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo aboard a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. You will stay the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids/Egyptian Museum

After breakfast in your hotel, you will head out for the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx are also on the itinerary for the day.

You will end the day at the Egyptian Museum, where you can view pharaonic artifacts going back more than 5,000 years, as well as the treasures of Tutankhamen. When your tour is done, you will head to the Giza railway station and board a train for Aswan. You will dine and sleep aboard the train.

Day 3: Aswan/Elephantine Island

You will be met at the Aswan train station and taken to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a cruise around Elephantine Island aboard a Felucca boat. You will stay the night in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

After enjoying breakfast in the hotel, you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing, including the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Temple. You will then board an air-conditioned vehicle bound for Luxor, where you will check in and spend the night.

Day 5: Luxor Sightseeing

On day 5 of your Egypt and Jordan Budget Tour you will have breakfast and then check out of the hotel, ready for a day of sightseeing in Luxor. You will enter the famed Valley of the Kings, as well as the Valley of the Queens.

You will also enjoy the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. To round out your day, you will enjoy the complexes of Luxor Temple and Karnak Temples before boarding a sleeper train for Cairo.

Day 6: Taba

You will be met at the Giza train station and driven to Taba; you’ll enjoy free time on arrival and spend the night in the city.

Day 7: Jordan/Wadi Rum

In the morning, you will head to the Taba Heights Marina, where you will board a ferry for Aqaba. You’ll then drive into Wadi Rum aboard 4x4 Jeeps and visit Lawrence’s Spring.

Next up, you will explore the sand dunes in Wadi Um Ishrin, where you will find ancient Nabatean inscriptions on the stones. You will head to Petra, where you will stay overnight.

Day 8: Petra and the High Place of Sacrifice

After enjoying breakfast, you will explore the city of the Nabateans, the rose red Petra. You will walk through the Siq and enjoy the numerous carvings of statues and idols that dot the area, before you arrive at the treasury.

Next, you will visit the ancient theater, and then make your way to the High Place of Sacrifice. You will then visit the royal tombs and the Roman colonnaded streets before retiring for the night.

Day 9: Back to Cairo

You will have breakfast at your hotel and then enjoy free time in Petra to explore. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Aqaba to the ferry for Taba, where you will be met and transferred to Cairo.

Day 10: Final Departure

In the morning, you will be transferred to the Cairo International Airport so you can board your departing flight.
