Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

On the Egypt Adventure Tour our experienced representative will meet you within the Cairo International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel aboard a private, air-conditioned vehicle. You will spend the night in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids/Egyptian Museum

You’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, and then head out to the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus.

Afterward, you will visit the Great Sphinx, and then the Valley Temple. The Egyptian Museum is also on the itinerary, where you will enjoy viewing ancient artifacts from Tutankhamen, as well as other great pharaohs. That evening, you’ll board a train bound for Luxor to continue your tour.

Day 3: Luxor Sightseeing

On day 3 of the Egypt Adventure Tour you will arrive in Luxor, and be met by our representative. Immediately following, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in. Next up, you will head out to the Valley of the Kings, where you will also enjoy the Temple of Hatshepsut and the famed Colossi of Memnon. The Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temples are also on the itinerary. After your tour, you will spend the night in your hotel in Luxor.

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

After you enjoy breakfast at the hotel, you will board an air-conditioned vehicle and drive to Aswan. Here, you will check-in at your hotel, before setting off to see the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis and Hathor. Finally, you will tour Elephantine Island aboard a Felucca boat and then return to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Abu Simbel Temples

You will board a modern motor coach for a trip to the Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel. Your return will take you to the Aswan railway station, where you will board a train for Cairo, traveling first class, (this is an overnight trip).

Day 6: Back to Cairo

On arrival, you will be met at the Giza train station and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. Here, you will enjoy a quiet dinner, or you can take the optional tour to Memphis and Sakkara.

Day 7: Free Day/Alexandria Sights

You have the option of enjoying a free day to explore Cairo, or you can take the trip out to Alexandria. Should you visit Egypt’s second capital, you will visit the Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century, as well as the Montazah Palace and the New Alexandria Library. Of course, the Roman Catacombs are always worth a visit. You will return to Cairo for the evening.

Day 8: Final Departure

The final day of the Egypt Adventure Tour. You will enjoy breakfast, and then be transferred to the Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
