Tour Itinerary


Christian monasticism was born at Wadi El Natroun, where once over 50 monasteries stood.

You will be destined to see the last 4 living monasteries of this once enveloped place. Deir al-Baramus is the oldest and first that you will see, followed by Dier Anba Bishoi, with its namesake’s body still inside. Next will be the richest of the monasteries, Dier Abu Maqar, followed by the most compact and quaint of them all, Deir El Suryani.


Per Person and Group Pricing are as follows:
  • Single: $150
  • 2 to 3 persons: $80
  • 4 to 6 persons: $70
  • 7 to 10 persons: $60
  • Large Group rates are based on size and availability

This tour begins with air conditioned vehicle pickup at 7:30 am and lasts for approximately 8 hours. This tour runs once per day,7 days a week, beginning and ending in Cairo.

Air conditioned vehicle travel throughout the journey, admission to all sites mentioned above, all taxes and service fees, and a guide of your native tongue.
