Tour Itinerary
On the Day Tour to Zafarana and St. Anthony Ministry you will be transferred comfortably, in an air conditioned vehicle, to an area which is 45 kilometers west into the desert from Suez City.
Here, you will tour St. Anthony Monastery and the surrounding terrain. This, the largest of the Coptic Monasteries, was built beneath the cliffs of Mount Kalalah. You will be guided on your ascent of the cliff by a monk, and from here will discover the vast appeal and amazing architecture of this ancient place. The many churches and tombs here welcome the tourist, some of them dating back to 356 AC.

- 7 to 10 persons: $85
- Larger Group rates are determined upon reservation
Your tour will begin at 7 am and will last for approximately 9 hours. This trip runs 7 days per week.
